The trip will cover over 2000 km, but you will have the opportunity to visit amazing and outstanding parks.

Day 1

Nairobi – Arrival

On arrival at JKI Airport, get your visa sorted with immigration, and after that, you will head to the baggage hall. A final clearance will be done by the customs, and do exit the building where our guide will be awaiting your arrival.

A transfer will be arranged to the hotel for leisure. Early evening, a transfer will be arranged to Carnivore Restaurant for a welcome dinner. The 50^th best restaurant in the world that specializes in barbecue meat and a selection of game meat.

Overnight at Eka Hotel (D)

Day 2

Nairobi-Samburu Drive time : 6.5 hours drive Distance : 350kms

Breakfast will be served at 0630 hrs.

On check-out, you will depart at 7:00 a.m. for Samburu National Reserve.

Enjoy a beautiful drive as you pass large wheat plantations that create outstanding landscapes. Arrival at the lodge will be in time for lunch and spend the afternoon at leisure.

At 1500hrs, you will have a game drive as you search for wildlife by the Ewaso Ngiro River or the Rocky Mountains that offer shelter to the elusive cats.

Return to the lodge for leisure, and a cultural talk will be provided by the bar area, which provides a deeper insight into the ecosystem and the colorful Samburu people.

Dinner and Overnight at Samburu Simba Lodge (B/L/D)

Day 3 – 4 Samburu

Depart at 0630hrs for a half-day game drive as you search for wildlife over an extensive area.

Packed breakfast will be served.

Arrive at the lodge in time for lunch and leisure. Experience an evening game drive in search of wildlife. Dinner and Overnight at Samburu Simba Lodge (B/L/D)

Day 5

Samburu-Aberdare Drive time : 4 hours drive Distance : 170 km

After early breakfast, depart at 0800 hrs. for Aberdare National Park.

Enjoy a leisurely drive, and on arrival a transfer will be arranged to Aberdare Country Club for lunch and leisure. The beautiful gardens offer panoramic views of exotic plants, which offer a calm sense of relaxation.

At 1500hrs, a transfer will be arranged to Aberdare National Park. The drive takes about 40 minutes to the lodge. The lodge is designed like Noah’s Ark and built with a wood structure. This offers a unique experience and yet the feeling of being in the old days. There are verandahs on each floor where you will get to view wildlife that visits the water hole.

Day 6

Aberdare-Lake Naivasha Drive time : 4 hours drive Distance : 180 km

The morning wake-up call is a sweet melody that rings in the hall.

Breakfast is served between 0630 and 0745 hours, and thereafter you will be transferred back to Aberdare Country Club. Your guide will be anxiously waiting in the lobby, and we depart for Lake Naivasha. The drive will be exciting as a stop will be made at The Equator Crossing and Thomson Falls.

Arrive at the lodge for lunch and leisure.

At 1500hrs, a transfer will be arranged to the jetty to select the boat and explore the lake that is home to resident hippos and water birds. You will visit Crescent Island, where the famous movie Out of Africa was shot; today it’s got resident wildlife that lives freely, and you will have a guided walk safari as you relive the movie.

A transfer by road will be arranged to the lodge for leisure. Dinner and Overnight at The Great Rift Valley Lodge (B/L/D)

Day 7

Lake Naivasha—Maasai Mara Drive time : 5 hours drive Distance : 280 km

Breakfast will be served at 0700 hrs.

Depart at 0730 hrs for the world’s famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve. The drive will take you through dry lands and large plantations of wheat. A stop will be made at Narok for a break. This town is run by the local Maasai people, so don’t be surprised to see cows walking around.

The stretch from here to the reserve is over a tarmac road, and thereafter 70 km will be on a rough and bumpy track. You will arrive at the lodge in time for lunch and take a brief nap. Experience a game drive in search of The Big Five.

Dinner and Overnight at Mara Base Camp (B/L/D)

Day 8 – 9 Maasai Mara

Breakfast will be served at 0630 hrs.

Enjoy a half-day game drive in search of wildlife. Arrive at the lodge for lunch and leisure.

At 1500 hrs, continue with another game drive. Dinner and Overnight at Mara Base Camp (B/L/D)

Day 10

Maasai Mara, Nairobi Drive time : 5.5 hours drive Distance : 280 km

Breakfast will be served at 0730 hrs. Depart for Nairobi.

A scenic drive will be enjoyed, and on arrival, a transfer will be arranged to JKI Airport to board your flight back home. (B)
