Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
- Arrive at Entebbe International Airport.
- Meet and greet by the guide.
- Transfer to Hotel No. 5 in Entebbe (10-15 minutes).
- Overnight at Hotel No. 5 (Bed & Breakfast).
Day 2: Transfer to Kibale Forest NP
- Scheduled flight from Entebbe to Kasese (07:00 am – 10:25 am).
- Transfer to Primate Lodge in Kibale Forest NP.
- Afternoon community visit with ongoing projects.
- Overnight at Primate Lodge (Bed & Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner).
Day 3: Chimpanzee Habituation / Trekking Experience
- Breakfast and packed lunch.
- Chimpanzee habituation/trekking in the morning (4 hours).
- Witness various chimpanzee activities.
- Optional activities include copulating, breastfeeding, feeding, patrolling, hunting, and resting.
- Overnight at Primate Lodge (Bed & Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner).
Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP
- Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP.
- Drive through the Mountains of the Moon (Mt. Rwenzori).
- Afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga Channel.
- Evening game drive and overnight at Ishasha Wilderness Lodge (Bed & Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner).
Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi National Park
- Morning game drive.
- Transfer to Bwindi NP with a visit to Ishasha (home of tree-climbing lions).
- Overnight at Sanctuary Gorilla Lodge or Bwindi Lodge (Bed & Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner).
Day 6: Bwindi Gorilla Tracking
- Gorilla tracking in Bwindi (requires stamina).
- Community walk or relax at the lodge.
- Overnight at Sanctuary Gorilla Lodge or Bwindi Lodge (Bed & Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner).
Day 7: Explore Bwindi
- Option to trek another gorilla family or visit the Batwa community.
- Learn about Batwa people’s life outside the forest.
- Overnight at Sanctuary Gorilla Lodge or Bwindi Lodge (Bed & Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner).
Day 8: Transfer from Bwindi to Entebbe
- Scheduled flight from Kihihi Airstrip to Entebbe (09:25 am – 11:25 am).
- Transfer to Entebbe for a day room at Hotel No. 5.
- Freshen up before the onward flight.
- Departure from Entebbe International Airport.

- Breakfast provided daily; additional meals included as specified.

Day 1: Upon arrival at the Entebbe International Airport you will be met by our guide. Having passed immigration and Covid-19 protocol exit to luggage collection, please exit the arrival hall and look out for your guide who will be holding up a signboard mentioning your name. Transfer to your hotel in Entebbe about 10-15minutes, depending on traffic. Overnight at the Hotel No. 5 (Bed & Breakfast)
Day 2: Transfer Kibale Forest Np:
Scheduled flight Departs Entebbe 07:00am Arrival Kasese 10:25am (subject to change at short/no notice & confirmation
Transfer to your domestic flight to Kasese. Once in Kasese you will be welcomed by your expert Adventures & Hikes guide who will pick you up and transfer to your lodge. He will provide knowledge and assistance throughout your journey.
Afternoon visit the community and experience different ongoing projects by the community in partnership with the park authorities aimed at managing relations with the community and the park to avoid friction. There are Bee Keeping projects, Vegetation cover and also experience community livelihood and day to day leaving.
Meal plan: Bed & Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Accommodation: Primate Lodge for 02 nights
Day 3: Chimpanzee Habituation / Trekking Experience: (This is now about 04hrs long activity with the Chimpanzees and the Research Team, main reason is to reduce stress on the Chimpanzees; as previously it has been a full day activity ONLY 12 permits monthly are available for this activity otherwise engage in Chimpanzee trekking if no permits are available)
Start off with an early morning breakfast, get your lunch packed and head out to meet your guide that will lead you into the forest. Only a maximum of 4 people per group inclusive of the researchers and guides are permitted to go see these Chimps. You are then taken to see the place where the primates built their nests the previous night. If you are lucky and awoke early, you are sure to find them just getting up.
Thus a typical Chimpanzee habituation begins in the hours at dawn between 6-6:30 am. Other activities;
- you will see them taking part in copulating
- breastfeeding for the little ones
- Feeding, patrolling, hunting, resting
Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth Np
Transfers to Queen Elizabeth Np arrive in time to lunch. We will drive through the Famous Mountains of the Moon Mt. Rwenzori with ranges and farms seen in a distance then makes way for Queen Elizabeth Np. Enjoy an afternoon boat Cruise on the Kazinga Channel at 14:30hrs and look out wild life as they throng the water banks puffing and huffing away seen with Hippopotamus, Elephants and many more
Enjoy an evening game drive and then proceed to the lodge.

Accommodation: Ishasha Wilderness Lodge for 01night.
Day 05: Transfer to Bwindi National Park: Early morning after breakfast, Game drive this morning as we exit the park; either drive via Ishasha in Queen Elizabeth home of the tree climbing lions. Upon arrival Bwindi and time permitting, you will go for a short stroll around the lodge or explore around the lodge.
Overnight: Sanctuary Gorilla Lodge or Bwindi Lodge for 03 nights

Day 06: Bwindi Gorilla tracking today:
Trek up steep densely forested hills before finally coming across the gorillas camouflaged in the vegetation. An exciting and inspiring moment! Tracking in Bwindi requires stamina and often take most of the day. Upon return, community walk or relax at your lodge.
Day 07: Either opt for another trek by visiting another Gorilla Family (book and pay I advance for the extra permits) or visit the Batwa community. The Batwa people, an indigenous group of people that lived in the forest together with the endangered mountain gorillas, Batwa now live and earn a living by weaving handcrafts like bags and necklaces. This is their new home and experience how they are adopting to life outside the forest.
Day 08: Transfer Bwindi to Entebbe today:
- Scheduled flight Departs Kihihi Airstrip 09:25am Arrival Entebbe 11:25am (subject to change at short/no notice & confirmation)
Early morning after breakfast, 7:00am; we transfer to the airstrip in time for onward scheduled flight to Entebbe.
We later drive to Entebbe check in at our day room to freshen up before next flight onwards. Later depending of flight time, transfer to Entebbe international airport, check-in time has to be at least 02hrs before departure time. In the hall way after check-in are some duty free shops at your disposal.

Ishasha Wilderness Camp
Ishasha Wilderness Camp is situated within the Southern Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park on the Ntungwe river, an idyllic retreat for people who truly enjoy the wild. This exclusive camp blends the magic of a wilderness tented camp with superb service in this unspoilt and remote region of the National Park.
The Ishasha savannahs are famous for its population of tree climbing lions that can sometimes be spotted resting in the branches of the large fig trees. Being within the park the wildlife is free to also pass through the camp and elephants can be seen bathing in the river, buffalo enjoy grazing and resident troops of Black-and-White Colobus and vervet monkeys are frequently viewed.
Primate Lodge
Primate Lodge Kibale’s principal edge is it’s location, tucked deep in the Kibale forest National Park and right next door to the starting point for Chimpanzee tracking excursion as well as the incredible Chimpanzee Habituation, really, two of the most genuinely breath-taking wildlife experiences on the planet.
