- Choose between Batwa tribe experience or game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Day 01: Upon arrival at the Entebbe International Airport you will be met by our guide this morning. Having passed immigration and luggage collection, please exit the arrival hall and look out for your guide who will be holding up a signboard mentioning your name.

Day 02: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park: Scheduled flight Departs Entebbe 07:00am & Arrival Murchison Falls Pakuba 10:25am (subject to change at short/no notice & confirmation
Early morning transfer to Entebbe Airport for your scheduled flight to Murchison Falls National Park. Upon arrival, your expert guide will pick up and continue to your lodge. Game drive this morning for Elephants, Lions among many more. After a long day’s drive relax at your lodge this evening.

Day 03: Game drives, boat cruise in Murchison Falls.
Start today relaxed with a game drive to view and take photographs of elephants, buffalos, waterbucks, giraffes, Uganda Kobs, lions, if you are lucky the leopards, plus a variety of bird species. Lunch break at the lodge then proceed for a boat cruise along the Nile to the bottom of the mighty Murchison falls. This is an opportunity to see hippos, crocodiles along the riverbanks and many water birds including the rare Shoebill tock. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 04: Chimpanzee trekking & Primate walk today: Chimp tracking experienced this morning. The hike takes about 2 to 4 hours, depending on the movement of the chimpanzees. Once the chimps are found you will stay for one hour with these amazing creatures to watch them eating, resting and playing.
Enjoy a guided primate walk in the lush expenses of the tropical forest, in search of the habituated chimpanzee family. Your guide will explain to you more about the animals and plants species that you encounter on your way. Also look out for other primates like the Black-and-White Colobus Monkeys, Red-tailed Monkeys, different type of birds, tracks of mammals and much more.
Game drive this evening as you get to the lodge.
Day 05: Transfer to Bwindi National Park:
Scheduled flight Departs Murchison Fall 07:00am Arrival Kihihi 10:25am (subject to change at short/no notice & confirmation
This morning will transfer to airstrip for your charter flight to Bwindi -Kihihi airstrip where you will be met by your guide who will drive you to Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp. The day is at leisure for you to explore the camp and its surroundings. You may opt to experience one of the many activities offered at the camp including an enthralling forest walk in the famous Bwindi Impenetrable Forest where you can spot rare forest elephants, giant forest hogs, primates, antelopes and over 200 species of butterflies to name a few.
In the evening, sip on delicious cocktails, pamper your palate with a gourmet dinner, and finally spend the rest of your night by the campfire before retiring to your tent for a good night’s sleep

Day 06: Gorilla Trekking today: Fuel up at breakfast for the exciting morning ahead. Once all set, meet with your expert guide before you embark on a trek through the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest to meet the gorilla families that inhabit it. The gorillas are completely wild but have become used to seeing a few humans after years of habituation. Nonetheless, make sure to respect the complicated etiquette involved in meeting a giant silverback. Once the gorillas are located, spend up to an hour with them savouring every moment of this once-in-a-lifetime encounter before returning back to camp.
After lunch in camp, enjoy the rest of the afternoon at leisure or take the time to learn about Sanctuary Retreats’ philanthropy initiatives in Bwindi. Visit the Bwindi Women’s Bicycle Enterprise, the Bead Making Project, the Ebeneezer Nursery and Primary School followed by the Bwindi Community Hospital and Nursing School, learning about how each project impacts the community for the better.
Once back in camp, indulge in a spa treatment leaving you relaxed, and unwind to the ongoing white noise of the forest. Sit down to a sumptuous dinner accompanied by stunning views of the hills and the African night sky.

Day 07: The Bwindi Experience or Wildlife Safari Excursion today;
On your last day, choose between a full day experience learning about the Batwa tribe’s history, their daily lives, their traditions and culture;
Or
An exciting game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park popular for its tree climbing lions, savannah elephants, buffaloes, topi, hippos, various bird species, warthogs and the occasional leopard.
Upon return to camp, soak in your bath and freshen up for your last evening at the camp.
Day 08: Departure today; Scheduled flight Departs Kihihi 09:00am & Arrival Entebbe 11:25am (subject to change at short/no notice & confirmation
We transfer to Kihihi airstrip in time for onward flight to Entebbe. We will have a day room today.
Depending on departure time; have a free day before departure.
