The Great Rift Valley in Kenya dates back 25 million years ago. It’s formation in Kenya paved the way to the creation of outstanding scenic beauty, freshwater lakes, and reserves full of wildlife. Lake Nakuru is a haven for bird lovers, as there are over 2 million pink flamingos and about 450 different species spotted. A sanctuary for the Black Rhino and White Rhino offers a perfect breeding ground.
Maasai Mara is no doubt paradise on earth. It’s been declared the 8th wonder of the world due to its abundance of flora and fauna. The annual migration of wildebeests is the greatest show. Lake Naivasha is approx. 200 sq km in size and is a freshwater lake. It’s a great spot to view water birds, resident hippos, and the intelligent fish eagle.
Day 1
Nairobi – Arrival
On arrival at JKI Airport, get your visa sorted with immigration, and after that, you will head to the baggage hall. A final clearance will be done by the customs, and do exit the building where our guide will be awaiting your arrival.
A transfer will be arranged to the hotel for leisure. Overnight at Eka Hotel.
Day 2
Nairobi-Lake Nakuru Drive time : 3.5 hours drive Distance : 170 km
Breakfast will be served at 7:30 a.m., and thereafter, at 8:00 a.m., office staff will meet you at the lobby to offer a briefing for your program. On check-out, you will depart at 0830 hrs for Lake Nakuru National Park. The drive will take you through the Great Rift Valley. Arrival at the camp in time for lunch and leisure. Spend the early afternoon at leisure or enjoy time at the spa.
An afternoon game drive will be arranged as you search for wildlife. A visit will be arranged to the shores of the lake, and a magnificent view will be appreciated from the Baboon Cliff.
Dinner and Overnight at Flamingo Hill Camp (B/L/D)
Day 3
Lake Nakuru, Lake Bogoria (Day Trip), and Lake Elementaita Drive time : 6 hours drive (Roundtrip)
Distance : 300kms
Breakfast will be served at 0630hrs in search of wildlife. Proceed to Lake Bogoria National Reserve. Have a leisurely drive as you head north, and on arrival, a visit will be arranged to the hot springs that make this park very special and unique. Picnic lunch will be served at a secluded spot and later explored to search for the greater Kudu’s.
At 1500 hrs, the return journey will commence, arriving at the lodge early in the evening. The lake is about 25 sq km and is home to resident Pelicans, Spoonbills, and Cormorants.
The view of the magnificent sleeping warrior is a beautiful sight as you enjoy the sunset. Dinner and Overnight at Sentrim Elementaita Lodge (B/L/D)
Day 4
Lake Elementaita—Maasai Mara Drive Time : 5.5 hours drive Distance : 255 km
Breakfast will be served at 0700 hrs.
Depart at 0730 hrs for the world’s famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve. The drive will take you through dry lands and large wheat plantations. A stop will be made at Narok for a break. This town is run by the local Maasai people and
Don’t be surprised to see cows walking around. The stretch from here to the reserve is over a tarmac road, and thereafter 70 km will be on a rough and bumpy track.
You will arrive at the lodge in time for lunch and take a brief nap. Experience an evening game drive in search of The Big Five.
Dinner and Overnight at Mara Base Camp (B/L/D)
Day 5 Maasai Mara
Breakfast will be served at 0630hrs in search of wildlife. Enjoy a half-day game drive in search of wildlife.
Arrive at the lodge for lunch and leisure. At 1500hrs, a guided walk safari will be arranged as you view wildlife on foot, and a visit will be arranged to a Maasai village to learn more about this unique tribe that co-exists freely with wildlife.
Return to the lodge for leisure.
Dinner and Overnight at Mara Base Camp (B/L/D)
Day 6 Maasai Mara
Breakfast will be served at 0630 hrs.
Today you will experience a full-day game drive as you search for wildlife extensively. Picnic lunch will be served.
Return to the lodge for leisure, and later you will be transferred to a spot away from the lodge where a bush barbecue dinner will be served as you hear sounds of the wild.
Diner and overnight at Mara Base Camp (B/L/D).
Day 7
Maasai Mara-Lake Naivasha Drive time : 5 hours drive (Roundtrip) Distance : 235 km
Breakfast will be served at 0700 hrs. Depart at 0730 hrs for Lake Naivasha.
You will arrive at the lodge in time for lunch and leisure. At 1500hrs, a transfer will be arranged to the jetty to select the boat and explore the lake that is home to resident hippos and water birds.
You will visit Crescent Island, where the famous movie “Out of Africa” was shot. Today it’s got resident wildlife that lives freely, and you will have a guided walk safari as you relive the movie.

Day 8
Lake Naivasha—Nairobi—Departure Drive time : 2.5 hours drive
Distance : 100 km Breakfast will be served. Depart for Nairobi.
A scenic drive will be enjoyed, and on arrival, a transfer will be arranged to JKI Airport to board your flight back home. (B)
