History has been depicted in this route, which involves the Royal Mountain and a sad story of loss of life by the Man Eaters of Tsavo.
Amboseli is on the Leeward side of Mt. Kilimanjaro and is home to the largest herds of elephants. It’s regarded as photographers` paradise with the amazing back drop of Mt. Kilimanjaro.
Tsavo West has undergone major transformation due to volcanic activities, and it can be witnessed while driving through the Shetani Lava Flow.
Natural attractions such as the Mzima Springs, Roaring Rocks, Ngulia Mountain, and the five sister hills. Tsavo East is a splendor with it’s vast size and is known to be an important habitat for wildlife adapted to dry areas.
During winter, birds migrate to this park, and they use the longest plateau as their breeding grounds. Natural attractions such as Mudanda Rock, Aruba Dam, Lugards Falls, and the Yatta plateau have made this a great holiday spot.
Day 1
Nairobi – Arrival
On arrival at JKI Airport, get your visa sorted with immigration, and after that, you will head to the baggage hall. A final clearance will be done by the customs, and do exit the building where our guide will be awaiting your arrival.
A transfer will be arranged to the hotel for leisure. Overnight at Eka Hotel
Day 2
Nairobi-Amboseli Drive time : 4.5 hours drive Distance : 240 km
Breakfast will be served at 0700hrs, and thereafter, at 0730hrs, an office staff member will meet you at the lobby to offer a briefing for your program.
On check-out, you will depart at 8:00 a.m. for Amboseli National Park. The drive will take you through the Nairobi-Mombasa highway, that’s a major
connection between Mombasa and all parts of Greater East Africa. Arrival at the lodge in time for lunch and leisure.
An afternoon game drive will be arranged as you search for wildlife in the dusty plains, and some swampy grounds are found where hippos are found lazing around.
Return to the lodge early evening for leisure. Dinner and Overnight at Kibo Safari Camp (B/L/D)
Day 3 Amboseli
Breakfast will be served at 0630 hrs.
Depart for a half-day game drive in search of wildlife.
Return to the lodge for lunch and spend the afternoon at leisure or enjoy a dip in the pool with magnificent views of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Continue with a game drive in the afternoon, and a visit will be arranged to the observation hill.
Arrive at the lodge early in the evening for leisure. Dinner and Overnight at Kibo Safari Camp (B/L/D)
Day 4: Amboseli-Tsavo West Drive time : 3.5 hours drive Distance : 160 km
Breakfast will be served at 0700 hrs.
Depart at 0730 hrs for Tsavo West National Park. On the way, a stop will be made to visit a Maasai village, where you will learn more about their traditions and livelihood.
Experience a game drive in search of wildlife. Dinner and Overnight at Ziwani Camp (B/L/D)
Day 5: Tsavo West
Breakfast will be served at 0630 hrs.
Depart at 0700hrs, and a visit will be arranged to Lake Challa.
Formed by explosive eruptions thousands of years ago, this stunning crater lake is fed by underground streams from Kilimanjaro. During World War 1, the allied forces marched around the northern edge to battle it out with the Kaiser’s force. It’s 4.5 square kilometers and 94 meters deep with the invisible line separating Kenya and Tanzania, and you can enjoy a swim in it at your own risk, for even though the locals say that Grogan’s crocodiles have all been killed, there might be one just lurking about. Picnic lunch will be served.
Depart for the lodge and enjoy a game drive in search of wildlife. Dinner and Overnight at Ziwani Camp (B/L/D)
Day 6
Tsavo West-Tsavo East Drive time: 4 hours drive Distance: 180kms
Breakfast will be served at 0630 hrs.
Depart at 0730 hrs for Tsavo East National Park. Tsavo West and Tsavo East are divided by the Nairobi-Mombasa Highway, and it’s the biggest national park in Kenya. You will arrive at the lodge in time for lunch and leisure.
Experience a game drive in search of wildlife as you explore this dry area that still remains a magical place. Arrival at the lodge will be early evening.

Day 7
Tsavo East – Nairobi – Departure Drive time: 5.5 hours drive Distance: 280kms
Breakfast will be served. Depart for Nairobi.
A scenic drive will be enjoyed, and on arrival, a transfer will be arranged to JKI Airport to board your flight back home. (B)
