Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
- Arrived at Entebbe International Airport.
- Met by a guide holding a sign with the traveler’s name.
- Transferred to Hotel No.5 Entebbe for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Transfer to Kibale Forest NP
- Transferred to Kibale Forest NP via Fort Portal Town.
- Lunch upon arrival, followed by a relaxed afternoon with a crater walk.
- Accommodation: Primate Lodge for 3 nights.
- Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
Day 3: Chimpanzee Habituation Experience
- Engaged in the exclusive Chimpanzee Habituation Experience in Kibale Forest NP.
- Challenging trek to observe non-habituated groups in their natural environment.
- Witnessed chimpanzees’ day-to-day activities and learned about their behavior.
- Explored the diverse flora and fauna of Kibale Forest.
- Relaxed evening at the lodge.
Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking and Bigodi Swamp Walk
- Early breakfast and pre-tracking briefing for chimpanzee trekking.
- Walked or drove to the trailhead for a chimpanzee trekking adventure.
- Spent one hour observing and learning about chimpanzees in their habitat.
- Afternoon guided nature walk through Bigodi wetlands for bird and primate sightings.
- Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 5: Transfer to Entebbe and Departure
- Early morning transfer to Entebbe.
- Checked into a day room at Protea Entebbe Hotel for freshening up.
- Depending on the flight time, transferred to Entebbe International Airport.
- Checked in at least 2 hours before departure.
- Meals: Breakfast.
This Uganda Wildlife Adventure provided a unique opportunity to observe chimpanzees in their natural habitat, explore the diverse flora and fauna of Kibale Forest, and engage in community-supported eco-tourism. The trip concluded with a comfortable day room and departure from Entebbe International Airport.
Day 1: Upon arrival at the Entebbe International Airport you will be met by our guide. Having passed immigration and luggage collection, please exit the arrival hall and look out for your guide who will be holding up a signboard mentioning your name. Transfer for overnight in Entebbe at the Hotel No.5 Entebbe (B&B)

Day 2: Transfer Kibale Forest Np (Transfer time 05-06hrs):
This morning will transfer to Kibale Np through Fort Portal Town set in the backdrop of the famous Rwenzori Mountains.
Lunch will be upon arrival and later, have a relaxed evening with a crater walk this afternoon.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & dinner
Accommodation: Primate Lodge x 3 nights.
Day 03: Chimpanzee Habituation Experience Today; The Chimpanzee Habituation Experience is available exclusively in Kibale Forest Np. The trekking is more challenging than a standard chimp trek because non-habituated groups live deeper in the forest away from the busier trails, and they move more quickly to new locations.
Throughout the trek, you see them carry out their day-to-day activities: feeding, hunting, patrolling the area, resting, and caring for the young ones. A habituation experience is the best way to get incredible photographs of the chimps. It also allows you to get close enough to identify individuals by their distinct markings and personalities and learn more about their group dynamics.
Beyond the chimps, Kibale Forest is home to a huge range of flora and fauna – and spending a full day in the park allows you to see much of this, including elephants, buffaloes, bush pigs, and birds, later upon return have a relaxed evening at your lodge.
Day 04: Chimpanzee trekking: After an early breakfast, make your way to the nearby Park HQ for the pre-tracking briefing, after which you will walk or drive to the trailhead for the start of your chimpanzee trekking adventure. As you walk deeper into the forest, you’ll learn about the flora and fauna of Kibale from your trekking guide.
Once contact is made, you’ll spend one hour with the chimpanzees as they go about their daily life – feeding, playing, grooming, and taking care of their young, howling and screeching. Return back to the lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, enjoy a guided nature walk through the Bigodi wetlands. The Bigodi Swamp Walk is an initiative of the local community. It’s a gentle trek with local community guides that takes you through 4km (3-4 hours) of wilderness where you’ll encounter a rich diversity of birdlife and primates. All proceeds from eco-tourism go back into the community, a conservation project well worth supporting. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Day 05: Transfer to Entebbe today & Departure: Early morning after breakfast, 7:00 am; we transfer to Entebbe: we trace our way back to Entebbe this morning.
We later drive to Entebbe and check in at our day room to freshen up before the next flight.
Later depending on flight time, transfer to Entebbe International Airport, check-in time has to be at least 02hrs before departure time. In the hallway after check-in are some duty-free shops at your disposal.
