Day 01: Arrival Entebbe International Airport Uganda:
Upon arrival at the Entebbe International Airport you will be met by our guide this morning. Having passed immigration and luggage collection, please exit the arrival hall and look out for your guide who will be holding up a signboard mentioning your name. Later; your driver/Guide will pick up and transfer for an overnight at your Hotel in Entebbe.
Break at Hotel No.5 (B&B)
Day 02: Transfer to Bwindi
- Scheduled flight Departs 07:00hr Arrival Kisoro airstrip 08:10hrs (subject to confirmation)
Today early morning transfer to Entebbe terminal for your flight to Bwindi via Kisoro airstrip. Upon arrival, your driver guide will pick up and transfer to the lodge in time for your late Breakfast. Afternoon either,
- Meet the Batwa (Pigmies)– The Batwa tribe better known as the Pigmies only began leaving their forest homes over 14 years ago and still live locally. For the opportunity to meet them and learn about their everyday life.
Or
- Various nature walks– Take a beautiful walk through various trails in the forest to the see waterfalls and other marvels, look out for birds and breathe taking sceneries. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 03: Golden Monkey Trekking: Early breakfast then transfer to Mgahinga National Park for the day’s adventure. Golden monkeys live in bamboo forested areas and they can only be found in Virunga Volcanoes which Mgahinga Gorilla National Park is located. Golden monkeys are endemic to the Albertine Rift Valley, and they share their home with the equally endangered mountain Gorillas.
Golden monkey trekking in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park involves travelers hiking the forest in search of the golden monkeys in their natural habitat. The activity starts at 8 am with an orientation of what is to be expected, and travelers then head out in search of the golden monkeys using the Gahinga trail. The forest comes to life with the noise and monkey activity that the golden monkeys exhibit, they jump from one bamboo tree to another as they play and eat. Travelers are allowed only one hour with the monkeys once encountered and after which, they track back to the starting point. The activity altogether isn’t strenuous and it can take about 3-4 hours as the monkeys live in lower areas.

Day 04: Gorilla experience today. Early morning with earlier breakfast, you will be transferred to the park headquarters, after the routine briefing by the wardens in Bwindi National Park, head on for the day’s adventure. The trekking is a demanding but rewarding experience. We ensure you bring with you enough drinking water and packed lunch. Enjoy the whole hour with these gentle apes and later upon return have a relaxed evening at your lodge.

Day 05: Departure: Transfer Bwindi to Entebbe:
- Scheduled flight Departs 08:25am Arrival Entebbe 11:25am(subject to confirmation)
Early morning after early breakfast, we transfer to Kisoro airstrip in time for onward scheduled flight to Entebbe. Transfer time to airstrip is about 1hrs drive from lodge.
Upon arrival Entebbe airport, you will be further helped for your connecting flight onwards. Check in time is 03hrs before flight time. In the hallway are duty free shops at your disposal before final boarding.
